“Whether the sounds of feet hitting the pavement, engines revving, bands playing, kids laughing or the cacophony of a parade, the month of May brings energy and vitality to our community every year,” said Bob Bryant, President & CEO of the 500 Festival. “The 500 Festival is proud to play its part in supporting the whole Indiana community as we ‘Feel the Rhythm of May’ together and we invite everyone to kick it up a notch this season. A great way to get started is to register now for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and then join in the 500 Festival Training Series, presented by OrthoIndy to ensure that we all hit the ground running and find our rhythm before next May.”

Signature events like the IPL 500 Festival Parade and OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon showcase the city on a world stage and connect the community in large proportions.  Nearly 7,000 volunteers give their time and energy to make the month a success. This May you can celebrate the 500 Festival theme – “Feel the Rhythm of May” with a month-long roster of events culminating with the 2014 Indianapolis 500® on Sunday, May 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
