Thank you to everyone who completed the 2011 Mini-Marathon and 5K survey. The survey is now closed. Your opinion matters and participant feedback will assist us in planning for the 2012 race and beyond.
Below is a sample of some of the data and suggestions we have received recently and the changes/enhancements made to the Mini-Marathon based on feedback from participants:
Requests had been made by the Mini-Marathon participants for more entertainment on the course. RESULT: We significantly increased the number to over 100 entertainment groups and cheer squads.
The 500 Festival received feedback that it was difficult to find things at the Post Race Party. RESULT: We increased the number of “street sign” directional signage and the number of park layout maps located in the Post-Race Party.
Following the 2004 race, we asked participants if the start time of the Mini-Marathon should be changed or remain at 8 a.m. Sixty-three(63) percent preferred a start time to be 7:30 or earlier. RESULT: The start time for the 2005 Mini-Marathon was 30 minutes earlier, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
