500 Festival Intern Program

The 500 Festival intern program offers opportunities for undergraduate students to gain valuable, real-world experience. Each year, college students from across the U.S. gain beneficial professional experience and a behind-the-scenes view of one of the nation's largest and most diverse festivals. 500 Festival internships are only offered during the spring semester of the academic year. The internships begin in mid-January and conclude the first week of June. Select internships may run longer, please see individual descriptions for more details. These dates reflect the fact that all of the heavy event planning occurs during the beginning of the year with all events culminating during the month of May.

The 500 Festival believes that all interns and applicants should be treated fairly, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, veteran’s status, or physical challenge. The 500 Festival will not support any form of harassment or other abusive conduct directed to interns.
