Post Race Party Band Contest

Announcing the winners of the 2013 500 Festival Post Race Party Entertainment Contest:

1) Zanna-Doo! will headline the Verizon Stage in the Beer Garden
2) 'Nuff Said will headline of the Family Reunion Stage
3) Whitney Erin & Buffalo Creek will be the opening act on the Verizon Stage in the Beer Garden

Beginning on October 1^st participants and the general public were able to nominate their favorite Hoosier based band to perform at the 500 Festival Post Race Party. From the nominations, the 500 Festival declared a “Top Ten” those ten were then voted on by participants and the public to find a “Top Three”.

In September 2012, the 500 Festival Post Race Party Entertainment Contest was presented a Pinnacle Award from the International Festival & Events Association (IFEA) for Best New Promotion. The IFEA recognizes outstanding examples of quality and creativity in the promotional programs and materials produced by its 2,400 member festivals and events around the world.
