The 500 Festival today revealed the designs of the participant shirt and finisher medal for the 2023 Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K.  

This year’s participant shirt features the iconic skyline of downtown Indianapolis, showcasing the location of the event and its tie to the city. Named one of America's Best 5K races, the Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K will take place prior to the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon on Saturday, May 6. Emerging behind the cityscape are the signature Indy Mini colors -- a blue checkered pattern, blending into a green striped pattern. The slanted checkered and striped pattern signify the speed and spectacle of participants as they conquer 3.1 miles throughout the city of Indianapolis. Boldly displayed on the shirt in a vibrant white color is the mileage of the race so participants can proudly show off their accomplishment. The location and date are also shown. 

The participant shirt is long-sleeved, made of a polyester blend fabric, and is available in men’s and women’s fit. Participants may make check their size with our size chart. 

Finisher Medal  

Also sporting the signature Indy Mini colors, this year’s 5K medal blends elements of this memorable race with classic imagery of the city of Indianapolis. Etched into the medal is the beautiful landscape of the city, with the 5K title soaring in the sky above. Rounding across the top corner of the medal is the official event name. Intersecting the city landscape is the vibrant white stripes and bold red inverted star of the Indianapolis flag, representing the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument within Monument Circle. The race distance, location, and date are also depicted on this unique medal.
